Brenda serves as the Administrative Assistant and is the communications hub for the entire church; she keeps the members, pastors, and staff connected by routing information in a fast and effective way. She is responsible for bulletins, email updates, prayer requests, and of course old fashioned telephones. Brenda also serves as financial secretary, helping record and manage the tithes and offerings.
BUDDY WALKER

Buddy serves as the Missions Pastor for the Church at Whistling Pines.
He brings a wealth of pastoral and missionary experience having served for 6 years as a missionary in Latin America, as a local pastor for over 27 years and has traveled extensively in recent years providing ministry training to leaders in many different nations. Buddy’s purpose is to motivate, equip and involve the membership of the church in local, national and global outreach. He leads our Missions Strategy team.

KOREN OBISPO

God has called Koren to grow kids with hearts that honor Jesus. She has been serving in Children’s Ministry for more than 10 years and not only has a passion for teaching but also has been gifted with the ability to prepare lesson plans in very unique and creative ways which has greatly enhanced the TreeHouse experience and effectiveness. Koren has been walking with Jesus since she was a teenager and continually is pampered by His great Love.

Koren moved to Florida when she was two years old. She attended UCF where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. She met her husband Jason in college and they have now been married for 14 exciting and wonderful years. Jason is a great husband and father who mirrors God’s unmerited favor and love to Koren and the children. Koren and Jason have two children, Meradith and Nathan, who are their joy and teach them of God’s wonder, patience, and love.
Koren loves gardening and dancing. She also teaches ballet, enjoys hiking and camping and getting messy with finger paint. Koren loves her awesome God and anyone who knows her will attest that is true.

Steve Kolozsvary was called to serve as youth minister for The Church at Whistling Pines, November 2011. He and his wife Andrea have a clear calling and passion for Youth evangelism. Leading the youth (S.A.L.T.) allows them to fulfill their calling and blesses our youth and church congregation with God’s love and passion.
Steve is always striving to maintain a strong focus on leading youth into the real and true relationship with God and Jesus Christ our Savior. As a seasoned veteran of faith and youth leadership he believes in a well-rounded Christian walk that produces a life culture that can be summed up by the fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-26.

Steve founded God’s Power Band, a wonderful tool to engage and promote youth worship and artistry. His genuine “Praise the Lord” attitude blesses many in our congregation. He also runs a small painting company bi-vocationally.
TOBIE SMITH

Tobie is our Technical Coordinator and Middle School Youth leader. Tobie is also a servant at heart. No task or chore is beyond him wanting to tackle it. He works with the audio system, video projection system, lighting system, and generally sees that all of our teams and ministries have what they need from a technical standpoint, when they need it. He also does graphic arts and media editing/prouction.

Lyn is the “Lead Worshiper” at Whistling Pines and leads worship most Sundays. Lyn is also on the Missions Team and volunteers with the Children’s Ministry - Roots. She has a passion for worship, missions, education/mentoring, and team ministry and has her eggs in many baskets!

Lyn has been married to William (AKA “Turtle” ) for 7 years. Their blended family includes Jordan (23), Jason (19) and Abram (4). Lyn loves to travel and meet new people. Other hobbies include singing (duh), volleyball, water sports and relaxing. She is not sure when relaxing officially became a hobby but believes it was shortly after the birth of Abram! She hopes to elevate it to an art form in the near future.
