Jesus told us not to judge by appearances, but he didn’t tell us never

to judge.  In the 7th chapters of the gospels of John and Matthew, we

learn about how to judge righteously.  First we must get the planks

out of our own eyes, so that we can help our brothers and sisters get

specks out of their eyes.  We also must wait on the timing of the Holy

Spirit, until He has revealed the truth of the matter; then we can

rightly judge what is good fruit and what is bad.
