Jesus says some things that causes many disciples to grumble and question whether they can accept his teaching and his person. Jesus asks a very pointed question: “Does this offend you?” Offenses are a very big part of being a Christian and being human. How do we respond to them? How do we resolve them? Many of those disciples followed him no more. Jesus then turned to the 12 and asked them if they wanted to leave too. Peter’s response was pivotal. What will our response be?
