Jesus’ promise of the outpouring of His Holy Spirit upon all flesh comes to fruition! The Day of Pentecost was a monumental day for the life and effectiveness of His church. He already established we should be “sent ones,” with that He equips and empowers us for the work. The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us power to be His witnesses. We aren’t satisfied with being sprinkled with water when baptized; we believe we must be submerged. Why be satisfied with only a “sprinkling” of the Holy Spirit?
